Almet was founded in 1982 by Alojzy Michalski. It rapidly evolved into a company with worldwide reach employing more than 40 people. The company’s core employees are skilled artistic blacksmiths and metalworkers with years of experience. Our primary goal is to provide products that are hand-made using traditional workmanship and assure the highest quality of details.
For our customers we prepare high quality wrought iron balustrades (both exterior and interior), steel driveway gates and gates (swing and fully automated), metal fences and bars. Almet also makes wrought iron garden products, such as flower pots, lamps, wells and bridges. We also prepare original decorative elements for apartments or homes, such as curtain rods, fireplace accessories, chandeliers, wall lamps, candlesticks and mirror frames. Almet’s employees will take on even the most unusual designs for original metal furniture or steel structures. In addition to that we also implement large-scale public projects, such as halls, buildings or pavilions.

Example of our company’s project ─ Nickerson’s Museum, Chicago (USA): street lamps adorned with brass (L 135), brass gate (G 265), cast iron vases (CT 101 & CT 102), low fencing for green areas (F 301), reconstructed brass gas lamp with curved and bevelled glass above the entrance to the building (L 140).
